Need help with mods
« on: March 21, 2015, 01:02:44 AM »
Does this file structure look accurate?

Im getting one error when starting Arma and then another error when in the main menu and then I tried to join a server I usually join and I get kicked from battle eye for corrupt memory #2. I do have launch options as -mod=@mod; and so on.

This is one error

and this is the other error

Right now I think i'm just going to delete all the new mods I downloaded from the mod list and wait for a answer and play some normal Arma because I been waiting all week to play some Arma.

Judging by the first error it would appear that your AIATP mod is missing a file. I would try redownloading/ reinstalling that. I have also heard from other players that Sahrani can cause issues for some reason and should be disabled when not in use. You could also try disabling the other mods one at a time to see which ones cause issues.

you do not need to delete the mods, you can play without running them. Try using a launcher such as arma sync, or arma launcher by head.  As for the first I would re-download AiAtp with the hotfix. The second error is normal.

Definitely don't delete all the mods.   No need.

As the others have stated, the easiest way to get going is to use a launching program like ArmA Sync.  Once you give it the path to the folder on your computer that the Arma.exe is located, it will list your downloaded mods for you and then you just select which ones you want to use every time you run Arma.

As far as your errors go, the first one looks like something is just missing in the All In Arma Terrain Pack.  This seems to happen for some because it's such a large file.  Try re-downloading it.  If you look in this thread http://www.506thir.net/forums/index.php?topic=3154.0 it has the URL with the previously mentioned hotfix already included.  Check out the posts in the Duty Desk thread.  Lots fixes to problems listed there as well.

If you continue to have problems, just post about it.  There are lots of members of the unit that can help.

Welcome aboard.

What I did for AIATP was look for data and I downloaded the data files for AIATP on the download page which was another 5gb and then put it in the folder and still did nothing. I pretty much spent all day yesterday when I got home downloading mods. What I did see was that when I was extracting the mods with winrar I got a lot of corrupted files. What I will probably end up doing is downloading the alternative download link for AIATP.

And what I meant to say was I disabled them all and then moved all the mods into a separate folder but I was still receiving errors and battle eye was still kicking me. I ended up having to reinstall the game and that fixed my game but still get 2 errors.

And I did launch it at one point with the launcher but nothing showed up besides some mod I download from the steam workshop.

try extracting with 7 zip instead. sometimes using winrar on 7zip files causes errors.

If you know how to access your RPT files, they really can narrow down where your troubles lie. In connecting to a server, when you're booted, it will create an RPT file of that incident, and it will show what the server is asking for, and then what your client is offering, in terms of mods. Give it a check, and see if that doesn't help narrow it down.

Make sure the zip file you download is the same size as the file says it is supposed to me on the armaholic site.  I had to download the AIATP file twice because it got corrupted or something on the first try and did not download in its entirety.
