Controller vs Keyboard and Mouse
« on: December 12, 2019, 11:50:09 AM »
Hi guys just wondering if anyone plays Arma using a controller rather than the mouse and keyboard and what your experiences have been good or bad ? As I know Arma has alot of user menus.
Thanks in advance

Keyboard and mouse. You will be seriously handicapped by a controller. You'll be slow, less accurate. You won't be able to use all of the necessary functions in game fluidly or effectively. Keyboard and mouse (preferably one with a lot of buttons) always.

Most folks find themselves adding immediate reach keys to simplify the sheer number of hotkeys and key combinations (MMO mouses, standalone gamepads, etc.) that need to be recalled & used regularly. The work required to implement a controller would be lost by periodically having to come off of the controller in order to use a certain function.
