Climbing and Mulitplayer View Distance

Hi all,
Firstly I am having a lot of issues with the ACE climb not working well and not being able to climb anything. I have been told there is a better climbing mechanism but have not been able to find it anywhere. Secondly, how to I up my view distance in the offical servers, when I play singleplayer it goes all the way up, but during trainings and missions I can only see about 1.5km before it gets foggy. If anyone could help me with these issues that would be awesome.

I was having the same issues until SSG. Petko helped me out. If you looking in the controls and find action 1 and keybind that to anything that suits you best you’ll be able to climb

Addon settings -> Ace View Distance Limiter -> On ground.
I have mine set to 8000, but I think most people are around 4000.

The other one is under the Custom Controls tab in the base controls, Action 1 is for advanced climb. Set it to whatever you want your climbing keybind to be.

And when in doubt, ask your squad leader. He will be able to help you out.

I also recommend unbinding ACE Climb. It's more trouble than it's worth. Just use the Enhanced Movement climb.
