The small nation of Skozistan consists of the following major provinces;

  • Fafreaji
  • Riqban
  • Ja'Arbah
  • Mazraea
  • Deskea
NOTE: Yellow highlights represent focal points noted in each province breakdown below.

(u) There are no definitive borders between each province, NATO advisors have briefed S-2 Command detailing noticeable cultural difference, differing political opinions and terror sympathizers loyal to certain cells operating within the nation. Skozistan has been the melting pot of the middle east since its establishment in 1954, the nation has witnessed rapid cultural and religious changes that have in the past been volatile. S-2 Intelligence will continue to analyze each province throughout the deployment, monitoring civilian opinions of NATO forces and brief Task Forces prior to missions highlighting potential dangers from civilians. Current terror cells operating in Skozistan do reside in certain provinces due to religious and political alignment. The following document outlines each major faction, its most populated region, typical terrain and majority power.

Fafreaji

(c) One of the smaller yet densely populated provinces in Skozistan, Fafreaji is known for its large city of KalaeNoowi, the city is directly adjacent to Washington Airbase where NATO forces deployed in February 2018, the airbase was originally abandoned before being secured and rebuilt by NATO Forces. The city is well developed and connected. 1 MSR leads out of the city heading East and then South to Ramir towards the edge of the province. KalaeNoowi also possesses the largest Mosque in Skozistan and is a major religious site, the nation sees thousands of civilians visit the city during Ramadan and Eid al-Adha. The city is decisively under NATO protection however due to the religious influence both Taliban and Al-Qaeda insurgents are known to reside here. FSKA Forces are operating within the city to ensure NATO comply with sanctions and limit terror activity.

Terrain: Rural, Hills.
Focal Point: KalaeNoowi City.
Majority Force: NATO.
Secondary Force: FSKA, Taliban, Al-Qaeda.
Terror Threat: Elevated.

Riqban

(c) This province directly borders Fafreaji, the province has a much lower population density, however, contains multiple mid-sized agricultural villages that generate most of the work in the area. A large chain of villages run east from Ramir to the town of Zatath. Supplies are frequently run between each settlement and NATO advisors believe that materials used to aid terror cells are moved in this area. Zarath has been known to house Taliban insurgents, the chain of settlements is used by insurgents to move supplies towards KalaeNoowi city. FSKA forces have largely ignored this supply chain due it not causing them any concerns. NATO forces have been denied permission to patrol and search this region. Another major town in the province is Tunkuf that lies to the eastern edge, the town is frequently visited by known Taliban leaders and it is believed to be used to store supplies and munitions.

Terrain: Rural, Hills, low mountains.
Focal Point: Chain of settlements running west.
Majority Force: Taliban.
Secondary Force: N/A
Terror Threat: High.

Ja'Arbah

(c) The largest province in Skozistan and known locally as the "Free land", Ja'Arbah has little to no policing and it is uncommon to see military activities in this region. Villages and towns are self-policed and ran by village elders, the majority of villages to the west of the province focus on agricultural produce, it is also common to see high levels of drug activities during Poppy season including large-scale production of opium. NATO forces ran operations during April 2018 to stop drug activities in the province and were met with fierce insurgent resistance, the operations were suspended due to the rising number of NATO casualties in the province. Insurgent forces operate freely in the province, small pockets of each cell are spread across most of the villages. ISIS forces operate in the southern sector of the province and S-2 intelligent believes munitions are able to enter Skozistan from the western border freely, Islamic State Insurgents have taken over some small villages to the south and west of the province and enforcing Sharia Law. The majority of the province's population reside in the center of Skozistan where Camp Green is located, this small military installation is run by FSKA forces and is linked to Mikis FOB and Camp Bushlurker. The military installations are poorly run and provide no security for the surrounding population.

Terrain: Rural, Hills, Towns.
Focal Point: Center villages, MSR leading south, Military installations.
Majority Force: Taliban, Al-Qaeda, ISIS.
Secondary Force: FSKA
Terror Threat: Severe.

Mazraea

(c) Mazraea borders both Riqban and Deskea, this province has one major focal point, the city's of Afsher and Arobster, a large dry riverbed runs between the two cities, the FSKA provide some security from Camp Peloton situated south-west of Arobster. FSKA infantry conduct patrols of either city due to their sizes and number of government officials that reside there. Due to this increased FSKA presence terror cells have avoided the southern sector of the province. Some small villages and settlements can be found in the area that focuses on agricultural produce, little to no opium production occurs in Mazraea. Terror cells may still use ASR's to move supplies through to the north or down to the south.

Terrain: Flat, Rural Hills.
Focal Point: Afsher City, Arobster City, Camp Peloton.
Majority Force: FSKA
Secondary Force: N/A
Terror Threat: Minimal.

Deskea

(c) The most southern province and home to the second largest city Kinduf, the city was built around FSKA Headquarters Kinduf Airbase, the base is home to most of the active duty personnel. The airbase is also used for FSKA Basic training, despite having no airforce the large base has a fully functioning airstrip and multiple aircraft hangars that are used to store munitions and their armor branch. Several barracks are spread across the airbase including officer quarters, the airfield is heavily defended and generally left alone by terror cells. Some external FOB's and COP's exist around the city and airbase, most notably Camp Ibanand Puesto Mate. Camp Iban was established to secure 2 bridges that connect Kinduf city to the east and run over a small river, NATO forces in the past have crossed over the river further to the north to avoid the bridges by crossing in drier areas. The province heavily relies on its industrial output, several mines have been established to gather what little mineral deposits the nation has. Large factory complexes exist, some have been reported abandoned and taken over by terror cells to manufacture IED's. The province has a large mountain range to the far south and is well connected to most of the larger villages and cities in the southern sector of Skozistan. A large ridgeline runs north to south through the province, NATO forces had previous trouble operating in this province due to its wetlands and steep terrain.

Terrain: Mountains, Rural, Hills, Urban.
Focal Point: Kinduf Airbase, Kinduf City.
Majority Force: FSKA
Secondary Force: ISIS, Taliban, Al-Qaeda
Terror Threat: High.
