Mission

The Combat Medical Section is composed of 16 total billets tasked with providing medical aid to all members of the 101st Airborne, 506th Infantry Regiment. The primary role of a 68W Health Care Specialist is to provide medical treatment to wounded soldiers in combat.  Medical staff also provide day-to-day medical care for soldiers in their squad and are trusted to keep the men and women around them combat ready at all times.  Medics in the 506th work tirelessly to make sure every soldier returns home after every mission and take great pride in being the lifesavers of the unit.
