BLACKHAWK SHOT DOWN IN ADEVEN PROVINCE

(TS) At 0530 on 18JUL19, a UH-60M Blackhawk of C-5-101 on a supply mission to COP Baton Rouge was engaged by EG AAA from the EG's main FOB at Khassadar and forced to take evasive action. The helicopter crew attempted to bug out to the east after jettisoning their cargo (Now recovered). EG AAA at COP Olympia also attempted to engage. B-326 Engineers fortifying COP Montpelier also reported heavy caliber machine gun fire from their east in the Uragal Valley as the bird went down.

(TS) It is unknown what brought down the bird at this time. S-2 has analyzed the last transmissions from the aircraft's crew to Phoenix Airbase after the crash. The pilot reported being fired upon by small arms fire after crashing at GridRef: 06650435. The engineers at COP Monteplier attempted to push into Urugal Valley to rescue the pilots but were ambushed and sustained five WIA before being ordered to fall back, reporting heavy resistance. COP Monteplier sustained an hours-long bombardment shortly after.

(TS) Judging by eyewitness reports of the crash from COP Montpelier, the coordinates of the pilot's transmission and after confirmation by satellite reconnaissance it is believed that the pilot and co-pilot are most likely in the hands of the Militia. INTCOM later confirmed this.

(TS) It is now confirmed that the Elite Guard has heavily built up their presence in Adeven and intends on making a stand judging by the large numbers of complex AAA encountered by the D-5-101 and 74 FS.

(TS) Division HQ has confirmed that the aircraft that went down was armed with two x19 Hydra-70 Rocket Pods. Their status after the crash is unknown, but it is possible they are salvageable.

PILOT ID'S

(TS) 2LT Howard Wright: Pilot.
Identification Question: What town were you born in?
Correct Answer: Omaha, Nebraska

(TS) CW3 Alexander Otto: Co-Pilot
Identification Question: What is your mother's maiden name?
Correct Answer: Miller

INTCOM Analysis

(TS) INTCOM has detected numerous instances of the words: 'CAPTURED', 'PILOT', 'AMERICAN', 'PRISONERS', and 'TRADE' coming up in Militia messages. It is possible that the Militia intends on either trading the captured pilots to the Elite Guard for an unspecified item(s) or intends on a prisoner trade with American forces.

(TS) INTCOM has also heard an uptick in usage of the words 'WEAPONS', 'CHEMICAL', 'FACILITY', and 'RELOCATE' in concert with the uptick in communications. This coincides with the Militia theft of industrial equipment supplies early in the conflict that can be used to create the compound ADAMSITE (DM), a non-lethal chemical weapon belonging to the vomiting/sneezing class of chemical agents. It is possible some primitive form of weapons facility is also present where the pilots are being held. Proceed with caution.
