Ace problems after update 30DEC15 (Resolved)

I recently updated the required mods from the mod depot, but now I am having issues with my ace interaction keys.  The ace items such as earplugs and medical gear appear in the arsenal but they cannot be used. Help would be appreciated. I'm trying to resolve this issue before OSUT cycle 02JAN2016.

Did you also update CBA along with the rest of the mods? Did you also update ArmA to 1.54?

I updated all the mods from the mod depot.  But I did not update to Arma 1.54 as I am currently using Arma 1.52 Legacy.  I will try updating to 1.54.

Updating to ARMA 1.54 resolved the issue.  Thank you
