How did you hear about the 506th?Watching Jester814 videos on YouTube.
Why do you want to join the 506th?The people I have been playing with tend to play haphazardly with no real plan of action - and they do not want to play with a plan of action. They just want to go - like a typical video gameplayer. The complexity of Arma's game mechanics made me realize that this could be a bigger and better experience. After seeing Jester's videos, I realized that Arma would be so much more enjoyable to me if I played within a structured environment - it made me realize that something like the 506th is what I am looking for with regard to enjoying Arma with others. I am a retired engineer and as a result, structured environments have always been a part of my life. That is basically why the 506th appeals to me. As an real-life engineer, I would not mind being part of the Engineer squad if you need me to fill a position. Since I am retired, I can be available almost all of the time, except when real life things like doctor appt's crop up, for example. I am really looking forward to participating in the 506th if there is an opening.
