National Police Memorial Day
« on: May 19, 2016, 09:32:21 AM »
Gentleman, Ladies
Today is National Police Memorial Day.  It is a day in which those in LE that have given the Ultimate Sacrifice have their names inscribed on the Wall at the Police Memorial in Washington D.C.  It is a day that you see Honor Guards from across the United States gather in one place.  Motor Officers from across the Nation Lead a procession of Buses and Cars of the Widows and Widowers and their Children from their Hotel, as they stay their throughout the week as one Family, and are escorted as the names of the fallen are announced and a rose is placed.  It is a Day that Cops are at their weakest but try to stay strong.  It is a day that you will see the toughest of Men and Women Cry.  I know for I was their I 2000, to support one that had fallen that was about to be my partner on Motors.  I have 2 more of my friends there as well since that day.  You cannot help it when you see the child of a fallen, wearing a Uniform fit to them wearing their Fathers or Mothers Badge and Gear.  Images and thoughts that you will never forget and remembering that they will grow up without their Father or Mother.  Yes we have Memorial Day coming up very, very soon.  But to little is known about today.  So I ask, I challenge you to Thank a Cop Today.  Tomorrow you may not get to.
Thank you to my Brothers and Sisters in Blue!!  Keep your head on a swivel for we are always a Target, Be Vigilant, Keep a Warriors Heart but a Courteous Appearance and remember..
