The Dureshi invasion of Iraq that began in the early morning hours is now fully underway, with invading units spotted crossing the Iraq-Duresh borders within the Erbil Governorate to the North-East, and the Iraq-Syria borders within the Al-Anbar Governorate to the North-West. Staying true to their offense-focused doctrine, the 9th Armored Division and 3rd Mechanized Division of the Dureshi National Ground Forces have blitzed past Iraqi border security forces deep into Erbil and Al-Anbar, but were finally slowed down at the town of Anizay, situated to the North of Al-Anbar, by the 506th Infantry Regiment, who were in the middle of a counter-insurgency deployment in support of the Iraqi government.
The successful delaying actions of the 506th has allowed coalition forces to re-consolidate assets and evacuate non-combat personnel across Al-Anbar. Iraqi Ground Forces Command has communicated their intent to focus on reinforcing the Erbil Governorate where casualties are mounting, while still maintaining support of the 506th here within the Al-Anbar Governorate with any remaining assets and to ensure coalition forces are not out-maneuvered or enveloped from the East and Western flanks.

The successful evacuation of Chaos Company and defense of Airbase Chuparosa less than 4 hours ago have given a portion of the initiative back to 1 BCT HQ - "Odin", albeit at the cost of more than 2 dozen BLUFOR KIAs. Recognising the need to deny OPFOR of crucial infrastructure and materiel gains in the coming hours, 1st Battalion and any supporting assets are now tasked to re-enter the AO and destroy key locations ahead of the DNGF's advance. Specifically, Task Force Alpha is tasked to locate and neutralize OP Smith, which is a substantial cache belonging to the Lions of the Tigris, while Task Force Charlie is simultaneously tasked to raid the abandoned COP Adler and the nearby oil facility designated as OP Summers.
All coalition forces must be cognizant of the recent behavioral changes observed amongst militant factions that have resulted in their re-classification from OPFOR to INDFOR. In particular, the Swords of Tarhid have been observed to be actively fighting against the DNGF alongside armed civilians, while the Lions of the Tigris have now likely defected in their entirety as a result of the Dureshi National Islamic Special Forces Command successfully replacing their leadership, folding under the invading Dureshi forces and thus hostile against other militant factions. While communications to confirm hostile or friendly intent with the leadrshisp of the various militant factions are underway, it is recommended - but not required - that BLUFOR implements the following ROE: when encountering militant fighters, fire only when fired upon. Due to the impossibility of quickly identifying militant fighters in the fog of war, however, there will be no repercussions for failing to PID and for any BLUE-on-GREEN fires.

OP Smith, as previously described, is a substantial cache belonging to the Lions of the Tigris, who have likely defected to the invading Dureshi forces. Before being taken over, the Lions were known for smuggling contraband across Al-Anbar under the nose of Iraqi security forces, and thus the cache will likely be hidden. Task Force Alpha must also be cognizant of Dureshi advance forces, mechanized and armored, pushing towards OP Smith from the North and likely putting the mission on a timer.
