Title: To Unitīs Mod DEVs - Possible "506th Idle Animations Mod"
Post by: SPC R. Gonzalez on February 08, 2021, 11:52:39 AM
Hello good Sirs,

Iīve noticed, for some time now, by watching 506th Streamers videos, and confirmed it after playing the Recruit Training last week, that the 506 Mod Pack includes some kinda "Idle Animations Mod", which adds small animations to standing idle persons, wether itīs AI or player... They move their feet, snap their necks, check weaponīs mag, and many others cool subtle animations.

Thatīs pretty awesome, even if adds just such a small feature, because it gives another hole immersion to the realism roleplay.

Well then, my question is: Is it really a Mod feature thing?! Is it possible to share this specific addon with the Arma community in anyways?! That would be much appreciated.

Thanks for the attention!

Regards

I'm fairly sure the idle stuff comes from ACE not something specific to the 506th. There's a optional ACE mod file to disable it.

Disabling idle animations became an option in ACE 3.0:

PV1,

As both SPC McClure and PV2 Jaeger have aluded to, I can confirm that the no idle "mod" is apart of the ACE3 mod, this can be found in your @506th_ACE\optionals folder, by moving the ace_noidle.pbo file to the addons folder you have then enabled the optional part of ace.

Hope this helps,

Allright then!
Tnks everybody for the feedback!

Found the ace noidle.pbo file, REMOVED ir from “addons” to “optional” folder and it worked.
