Title: CBA Weapons Binds
Post by: MSG Speirs on March 17, 2020, 05:01:46 PM
Changing from the ACOG RMR 2D is Shift Right Click which works great.

However, if you use something like the XPS with Magnifier, it's shift+/ to change the optic state. I've tried to change this inside CBA weapons but can't figure out a way to make it use shift-right click as well. It doesn't record the shift+right click as an input and when I set it using the options at the side it will set it as "Shift+Right Click" but doesn't work in-game.

Anyone have any insight or a video here?

Isn't there an RHS option for that? In the ESC menu, above the stock Arma menu there is the RHS options there. I think there is a binding there.

Figured it out - sorta... can't sort the keybind thing out but the Aimpoint 3x works with left ctrl+right click like normal.

For future reference with this and other addon keybinds, if you can't bind it via the addon options menu, bind it via the base game custom controls, and then set the custom control keybind against the addon option. BUT do note that some mods are hardwired to use these controls - e.g. Use Action 17 will switch you from your rifle to your pistol. Binding this keybind and setting it against some addon option (e.g. ACE Medical Menu) will perform BOTH actions - switch you to your pistol AND open the medical menu. Plenty of testing is the only way to be sure.

Great, this is the fix. Thanks SSG Hardman
