Title: Rebinding Additional Optic
Post by: Capt Avery on January 17, 2016, 04:02:54 PM
So I am tired of using Left Control + Numpad / to switch between optics and I would like to go back to Left Control + Mouse Right Click to flipping the magnifiers and using CQB sights. I tried to rebind the key in Configure Addon Controls in Arma 3 by going to MRT Accessory Function and rebinding Next Optic State but when I try to bind it to Left Control + Mouse Right Click, it only registers Left Click. Is there some type of config somewhere where I can rebind it?

I don't think it will register the left mouse click period. But let me see...

i used to have it bound to a 3rd mouse button, simply toggling between one or the other sight mode, it (used to) work atleast with my old units modpack, i havent gotten it to work here and would like it moved away from the numpad as well, as the numpad are fairly far away from the buttons you normally use.

Personally I rebound mine to Left CTRL + F since I already use F to switch fires I figured it would be helpful for me to consider F kinda like my weapon based key. Mainly because I'm a mostly broke college student with a half assed gaming laptop without a numpad at all.

I use Left Windows button and it works well. For using mouse buttons I created a random keybind then daisy chained that keybind to my mouse using my mouses software (Razer).
