Title: Video editing program, Which to use?

Hello. i have fooled around a bit with recording arma videos in the past, however i never found a editing program that i liked very much, mostly ending up using windows' movie maker. However, merely running the video through movie maker seriously ended up hurting the video quality of the video and i was wondering what you guys can recommend to conserve high video quality, remain free and easy to use.
