So it looks like Lockheed Martin is having a temper tantrum because Oshkosh got a contract to produce the Humvee's replacement through 2040. I think they get plenty from us. https://www.military1.com/military-weapons/article/1567641014-lockheed-martin-files-suit-over-armys-675-billion-contract-with-oshkosh-corp
Anyhow though, when can we start using em lol?

More likely a calculated business decision. When dealing with a $6.7 billion contract, a few $100,000 in legal fees is pennies in comparison. Even if it cost Lockheed $1 million to pursue the case, that would only be 0.015% of the potential gain, with the added benefit of fucking with your competitor who probably does not have the same capital reserves.

All the while costing tax payers money, military industrial complex hard at work.

Lockheed Martin already lost this battle. The "MAT-V Ultra Domination Edition"/JLTV is already in rotation with the USMC and it would be insane for the Army to not leverage that parts commonality, maintenance experience, and procurement lines the Corps already have (in terms of SL-3, SOPs, NSNs, Mods, etc). This is a "BIG" win for the DoD, and makes too much sense for Lockheed to have any case. Even if they have a case I am pretty sure the Government will just "Crye Precision" the situation and do what they want (hopefully with a win this time).
...I hope this is the time they pull the Deebo, but we shall see. Long live common sense!

Where do you live Wyngard :O
Oshkosh Corp's defense division is headquarted in Oshkosh, Winsconsin so I'd assume Wyngard in somewhere in that vicinity.
