Second this, the amount of running involved and we'd have to start doing LACE reports lol (the L means liquids).

Lol twisted ankle.

Hats off to the guy who gets so immersed he gets trench foot.
-
The closest to full virtual reality in Arma I would get would be an Oculus rift in the future.
-
So involved in it, the system actually rains on him, and has lighting hit him.
-
Next step is to just join the army.

Joining the army just doesnt seam real enough to me

Unless it also plugs into your house and provides electricity. Then we could join the Hamster Squad.

LMAO! My luck, I would come unstrapped and tumble over the ring, break my neck on the way down. MAN DOWN!

Track IR is already too expensive for me I don't need no more wants and needs >.<
-
TrackIR is an absolute must if you want to get serious with vehicles. For infantry, I end up toggling my TrackIR on and off to free look when I want. It is free look with my head motion being that of the mouse.
I have an Oculus Rift DK2. The only game that I am comfortable playing with it is iRacing. I get motion sickness after about 10 mins with any other game. Even with iRacing, I start getting a headache after about 30 mins. While I believe this could be overcome by more use and conditioning, I dont feel that it is worth the effort at this time.
I think the Omni would be best used surrounded by projection screens. Your head movement and optical sensory input would be more natural.
