The way I've installed mods is just by pasting them in the arma folder and adding them through the arma 3 client.

Once extracted the 506th and TFARv098 did not have @ in front of them so I added that and pasted them to the a3 directory and selected them in the client.

This however gave me an error with TFAR so I looked inside both of them and there were sub-folders with @infront of them, plus userconfig and "plugin for ts".

How should I/did you (who already have got things working) go about this? Do I just put an @ before the main folder and use that or just the subfolders? In that case what should be done with the userconfig/ts files?

For the pluggins copy them, then go to your TS 3 client folder search for the pluggins folder and paste them there
