They now have AIT up and running, and I can't wait to go through it once I'm done for the year.
However, I would like some details on what AIT will cover beyond date/time (though I can make them just fine). Mainly, what courses will AIT put one through? What's the difference between the 506th's AIT and the 15th MEU's SOI?

well if you are from the 15th and done MCT or SOI then you dont have to go through AIT.

I thought you only had to skip BCT if you were in the 15th; otherwise, you still went through AIT.
Not like I wouldn't mind re-going through the whole training regimen, I have some rough edges from not going out in the field too often that I'd like to sort out.

I asked the AIT training chief himself and he said you dont have to.
