Title: As far as non- or less-organized unit activities?
Post by: SFC (Ret) Lyon on April 17, 2015, 02:48:14 PM: New member here - first training tomorrow - and fairly new to ARMA3 (90 hours) - just wondering about what kind of free-form (but unit-centered) activities other members like to participate in. Can I expect to make some friends here and have them introduce me to other fun things beyond the large-scale ops - or is the unit mostly centered around the big events?

Global Chat in Teamspeak is the far left tab on the bottom of your Teamspeak Window. I believe its named the same as the Teamspeak. Something along the lines of 506th Infantry Regiment. The tab to the right of that is the chat for the specific channel youre in, and only the people in the channel will see that chat. Global is chat that everyone in the teamspeak can see. Be careful not to spam it ;)

Typically used for Official Announcements such as classes, meeting or trainings or sometimes even random fun stuff like unofficial OPs or even different games altogether.
