Title: Broken links @ Recruit Mod Depot?
Post by: SFC (Ret) Lyon on April 17, 2015, 02:17:56 PM
The RHS update links (Instructions and the two Updates) are dead links - do I still need them if I've just downloaded RHS v3.5?

The links have been updated.  You will need to update because version 0.3.6 is current.  Unfortunately, RHS has removed its instructions for using the updaters.  For now, please attempt to update with the instructions provided in the mod depo thread.

Thanks for updating - but I'm getting a different error message now, the basic: This webpage is not available - could you double-check those links?

Oops, the forum tags broke the links.  Should work now.

Thanks I got them - can I ask another question - for the All In ARMA terrain pack - there are three links there, am I correct that you either need the first link for a full package OR the 2nd and 3rd links if patching an existing installation of that pack?

So if I'm doing a fresh d/l-installation I only need the first link, right?

There are four links. I believe you need either the first three (installed in order) or the fourth link.

In other words, the first link does not include the patch or hot fix.

Okay one last question before I leave you alone ;-)

Is there a sure-fire way to make 100% certain I have everything modded correctly before I show up for my first training tomorrow?  Is it just about going into ARMA and trying as much of the new content as possible?

Thanks for all the help you've been great!

We have something in the works for that, but at the moment the answer is that you should just try to test in singleplayer.

If you find a recruit instructor online, and he or she is not busy with something, it is possible they could let you on a server to test your mods.
