Whenever I try to use shadowplay to record I get a red slash through the dot and it wont record. Does anyone know how to fix this. I cant seem to find a solution on the internet either. thanks

If you Google Shadow play red line, you'll get a bunch of different answers. Everything from making sure you have enough space in the directory that you're saving the videos to re-installing the Nvidia drivers.
The simplest solution I saw was to turn off shadow play in the GeForce Experience window and then turn it back on. That and a computer restart has worked for some people to fix the problem.
There's lots of info out there for you to try anyway.

Thank you for the response, that is all I saw as well and i have tried them all.

The only other thing I could possibly suggest is to uninstall and re-install the GeForce experience program. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

This happens to me from time to time. Very simple and easy to fix.
Step 1: Go into GeForce Experience, open up Shadowplay and turn it off.
Step 2: Go into your start menu and search "Run", and then open up the Run application.
Step 3: Type in "services.msc" and click Okay.
Step 4: Scroll down the menu until you see "NVIDIA Stream Service".
Step 5: Right click on it and select "Restart".
Step 6: Close the menu and turn Shadowplay on.
Hope that helped!

That still didn't work. I just started using shadowplay and I have yet to use it.

Are you sure your GPU meets the minimum requirements for shadowplay?
