Last Sunday was my first OP that I was able to attend and I have to say it was the most intense and satisfying hour I've had playing pc games in 10 years. Even though the server crashed when we spotted our first contacts 200 meters out it was thrilling to say the least. Just providing security for the bradlee while hearing the choppers landing in the distance was more eventful then any on rails shooter I've ever played. Spotting the contact and hearing the squelch of the radio when I reported it was far more satisfying then "mining some ore". Can't wait for the next one gentleman!

I cant speak for everyone but I think most of us still get that feeling. Being apart of the task force is certainly why we are here and makes all the work we put in worth it. My first op, from my former unit, wasn't that action packed either, but I still recall that sensation. OPs are certainly a roller coaster you never know what to truly expect.

A good op is one where I make it thru, a great op is one where I don't have to fire my rifle.
