To explain further I hate the immersion-raping "new user has entered/left your channel" notification sound bite during official events which is I have it disabled entirely, but I would still like to have it enabled for any other time, e.g. when I'm just idling in my channel so I know when people drop by. I understand that I could just disable it before an event then enable it again afterwards but if there's any way that I could disable it specifically only for the War Rooms and the Conference Rooms that'd be great.

You can set up sound profiles in the playback options, that's the easiest way I know how to customize the sound pack.

The way I handle this is bookmark-based. One bookmark connects me for op-times (with soundpacks off in the bookmark), and the other bookmark(s) have sound packs on:

The only other option I've seen is to set up a keybind to toggle soundpacks.

I believe that's the closest to the solution I'm looking for, I'll try it when I get home, tango mike TSgt Hardman

I just turn the audio for my sound pack down just before the ops, and once the op is over I turn the sound back up.

I want it off completely, but thanks for the suggestion
