Title: HOTAS Throttle
Post by: CW4 Stowe on July 29, 2018, 09:45:10 PM
Good evening,

While I am pleased with my Thrustmaster TWCS Throttle, I am truly disgusted with its inability to register a full 0% - 100% thrust for rotary nor fixed wing aircraft.  I first though it was Arma, but I have notice this issue in multiple flight sims.

So, what are you suggestions for a solid HOTAS throttle that registers the full range of power?  OR, is it the software and I am I stuck with the current limitations.

Thanks,

Tony

Are you ensuring you are NOT using the analog setting, and making sure your dead zones are not set up incorrectly?

The vanilla A-10 is the best to test your input range with.
Sometimes it’s more the way that a certain aircraft is rather than your controller.

I second Chief Bowman's suggestion of checking your dead zones. Try to avoid using dead zones as much as possible, unless your pots are spiking.

It may be my age...I didn't think about the deadzones. I will check again tonight.

Thanks

I prefer Saitek for my HOTAS, i currently use the Saitek X52, but they have had many upgrades since I purchased this one, but they still work amazingly.
