Title: Incorrect Forum Name
Post by: SGT (Ret) Booker on August 27, 2017, 12:31:54 AM
Hello,

I am not sure where to post this other than here, but my forum name is incorrect. It is supposed to read 'Booker', not 'Brooker'. If someone could point me to the correct person to speak with to get this fixed, I would appreciate it.

Thanks.

S-1 should see this, but go up your CoC.

If you have enrolled in OSUT, that is your OSUT instructor.
If you have not, that is your recruit instructor.

Be advised, it is the way it is due to your original application: view here (http://www.506thir.net/forums/index.php?topic=17018.msg113703#msg113703)

And so shall he be known as Brooker from this point in time until the end of his time.

This has been changed.

Two things:
1 - As was pointed out, your name on the forum comes right from your application when it is processed for entry into the unit.
2 - As was also pointed out, anything concerning your status in the unit or things that need to involve someone in the unit outside your fire team (or in this case RCT Training Class) to fix or get answered must go up your Chain of Command.  While I understand you are new to the unit, I know you were told during your RCT Training Class in the first two minutes, "You are to report any issues, in or out of game to your recruit instructor."  Following proper protocol in these matters is extremely important and a big part of why this unit is so successful.  There are channels in place to handle any issue you may have in the unit and that almost always starts with your class instructor or team leader.

Besides, if we handled ever paperwork/forum issue that pops up with a random forum post, well....that would just be bad.

Respectfully.
