Apparently Windows 10 anniversary update has a lot of problems which a lot of users reported. I had to experience new update myself, I end up having a lot of freezes ingame not only Arma. My FPS dropped incredibly due update. If you have Windows 10 on your SSD, you can experience major problems. I would recommend not to update until security patch will be released. So far there is no fix but Microsoft advised to roll back to previous built.

How to Disable Windows Update:
Open Services --> Scroll down and navigate to Windows Update --> Right click and hit properties --> Press "Stop" --> Make sure Start Type is set on "Disabled"

How do we prevent it from updating?

A much better way than completely disabling updates is to have it notify but not install, then pull down a list of the current updates, find the specific one that's a judas bastard and right click and ignore the update. There's even ways to have this automated through PS on startup/login, but as I don't have my old VMs anymore I don't have the method for automating it in WIN10.

Note: I updated to anniversary edition with zero noticable issues.

I haven't experienced any issues either. Hopefully it remains that way.

We get it. You're old. You want a fucking cookie, my friend?
On a side note, I've updated and haven't noticed any issues.

No issues from me yet either.
