I recently stopped using Fraps due OBS multi push to talk functionality for Arma TFAR.
What bitrate do you use to record your arma videos? or is it preferably to use nvenc over x264 since arma uses most of CPU Power. I tried to use 3500 Bitrate and I wasnt to satisfied with quality. Can anyone give me suggestions or their set up for recording? I would appreciate for all your help.
My hardware specifications:
Motherboard: ASUS P9X79 LE Intel X79 Chipset Quad Channel DDR3
CPU: Intel(R) Core™ i7-4820K Quad-Core 3.70 GHz 10MB Intel Smart Cache LGA2011
GPU: NVIDIA EVGA 980TI SC
RAM: 32GB Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR3 2400MHz

If you'd like to go back to using FRAPS (or try out Shadowplay) this will fix your problem. It will allow you to set multiple PTT buttons. Just have your voice recording on continuous.

You are the best!!Thank you :), I will try this tonight. Never knew this existed after long search in finding right software for recording.

Are you doing local recording or streaming?
EDIT: nvm saw you are recording.
I used this link to help me out with my recordings
https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/obs-classic-how-to-make-high-quality-local-recordings.16/
and this is how my videos look after uploading (youtube kills the quality)

Yes local recording.
I noticed Fraps gives you better performance than OBS since x264 utilizes your CPU power.
Reference my new video here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jv_zYzXJpXw) This was recorded with Fraps.
Youtube killed my quality which I rendered from 1080p to 720p.

Think something is wrong with your aspect ratio, video seems pretty narrow. Also what was the size of the raw recording file while using FRAPS?

I tried to eliminate issue with my aspect ratio, its due my ultra wide monitor which is 2560x1080. I am not certain if I can input custom resolution but dropping it to 1920x1080 drops quality of my image. I had to stretch video in order to eliminate black bars on the bottom.
I recorded for about 2 hours and I end up with raw 236gb avi file. I believe, its due my fps which is set on max for recording.
