Hello,
So I've recently discovered the Arma series and I'm primarily a console gamer. I love the realism in missions and the discipline and structure in the way you guys play it. I'vr been practicing with the Arma 2 demo to get a feel for the game and will be purchasing Arma 3 and submitting my application for boot camp soon. Please advise on whats needed to get started with the 506th.

Besides the mods and technical stuff, a team player mentality, open minded and adaptive style of learning, and willingness to strive on will have you in this unit for a long time.

Thank You, I just learned that Arma 2 controls differ some from Arma 3.

There is an Arma 2 control preset that should make mimic about 80% of Arma 2 controls on Arma 3 to make the transition a little bit easier.

The game. An approved application. And a pm from a recruiter is all you need to get started. From there, you'll get plenty of chances to hang out and learn the game.
