In Vehicle Engine Sounds - why so <expletive> loud?
« on: February 14, 2015, 05:08:31 PM »
Well, it would seem Google is not my friend today - Anyone have any idea how to lower specifically in vehicle sounds without lowering global sfx?   As it stands, whenever I am in a vehicle the engine sounds overtake anything I am getting over comms.    Kinda makes me feel like I'm trying  to someone in a club blaring crazy loud base, but I can't hear a thing and instead just nod and smile, with the occasional "ya", this obviously gets lost in ARMA.....

Turning effects sounds down to 15-20% should make everything better. With the sounds being as loud as they are, hearing bullets and vehicles shouldn't be a problem and friendly comms will be clear too; at least in my experience.

I definitely just recommend lowing the effects volume. Zero reason to have it turned up if you can't hear comms
