With the ongoing conflict between the CDF and infamous RPLA still raging in Chernarus, new footage emerged on LiveLeak this morning, supposedly showing the final moments of the RPLA assault on the CDF controlled town of Gvozdno. The footage itself, which is believed to have been uploaded by the RPLA themselves, appears to be filmed from a CDF soldier's perspective. The recording is assumed to have been recovered by the RPLA following the engagement, leading to the assumption that the CDF were successfully pushed out of Gvozdno.

Quote
CDF pushed out of Gvozdno
Chernarus government is pushed out of Gvozdno. Yet another victory for the RPLA.

Warning - The footage contains graphic images some viewers may find disturbing.

We cannot be sure if these assumptions are 100% accurate as there has been no comment from the CDF as to whether this assault did take place at Gvozdno, or if they suffered a defeat. But one thing we can be sure of is that, if Gvozdno is indeed under RPLA control, they have edged closer to the only CDF controlled air base in the region, which if taken, will make it increasingly difficult for the international community to offer support.

That is some absolutely insane fighting going on. The fact that the RPLA is willing to put danger close fire support from an indirect battery just proves how mad they are.

God knows how many casualties the RPLA are taking, but from everything that we've seen, they're relatively sustainable. The CDF, on the other hand, can't say the same.

Still, every battle buys time for the UN to get involved, and puts a good one-two into the RPLA war machine.

Am I the only one worried that the RPLA seems to be equipped with much more modern gear than the CDF. CDF seems to still be using tech from the middle of the 60s while the RPLA has almost modern weapons and equipment.

During the lead-up to OP Red Anvil, one of Podagorsk's government officials threw out the claim that Russia had been equipping the RPLA. I wouldn't be surprised that they've got much better equipment than the CDF, which has been going through some tough times since they had to deal with the Chedaki in 2009.

Amazing work SGT Aston!

I def see a big difference in the tech of the RPLA as pointed out. Going to make things interesting to say the least.
