Anyone have any experience with the auto OC feature in ASUS AI suiteII? I don't know much about overclocking and was thinking about toying around with it. I have a amd phenom II x6 1100t 3.30ghz

I've have used it within the last week. It is really simple. Dummy-proof simple. I just built my first PC, and I don't know squat about overclocking. I have an Asus Z97-a 3.1 usb motherboard with an i5 4690k. Cooler Master hyper 212 evo cpu cooler. 2-120mm stock fans (front,rear).
It's all GUI. Both programs were easy to use and understand (relatively). I only messed around with the automatic/ EZ Tune functions. They kind of give you insight into what is going on. You are able to see the changes that are made. I would suggest snapping a pick of the stock settings before you make any changes. That way you will have something to compare. In 3 weeks, I haven't gained the confidence to adjust any of these settings manually, but I feel that I am getting a major boost over the stock specs. The main thing that I noticed between the AI suite and the bios OC applications was drastic. The bios boosted me from 3.5 to 4.125 GHz. The AI suite had it up to 4.6 all while having the fans run quieter and still maintain cpu temps in the high 40's low 50's. In my opinion the AI suite was superior to the supplied utility accessed through the bios.
