Title: A. Hawkins Intro
Post by: SPC A. Hawkins on January 26, 2019, 10:26:12 PM
Hey guys, I have just been accepted to join the 506th so I figured I would post an intro about myself. My name is Amber, and I am from northern Michigan. There I work as a 911 EMT for a paid volunteer service. My original career goal was to work medevac in the Army, but unfortunately I ended up having a couple seizures my senior year of high school. I went to a community college for a year for my EMT licensing. I am approaching my 2 year anniversary of working 911. Where I live, I mainly run high speed snowmobile crashes and geriatric calls.

Aside from my work, I love animals, go cross country skiing, hiking, fishing, and most of all gaming. I am looking forward to contributing to the 506th in whatever capacity I can.

Welcome RCT Hawkins. Advice, get on TS, be proactive and learn. Fill in for squad trainings, ask questions, put yourself out there. Your here to play Arma 3, not sit in Day Room waiting for something to do. Sunday around noon to four-ish a lot of squads train, I hope you’ll take this advice and go ask around for an opportunity to fill-in.

I'm glad to see people interested in 68W joining the unit! As SPC Zier said, being active is the best way to make friends and gain experience. Everyone around will be happy to help you if you have any questions.

Thank you two. Havoc 1-4-D has been very welcoming and have helped me with my mod pack issues.

Recruit,

Welcome to the start of the road towards joining the 506th. I hope you enjoy your time here.

Keep in mind that your S-1 Recruiter is assigned to you to assist with your mod issues and is your Chain of Command (CoC) contact.
If you're having problems getting your mods set up & tested, they should be your first port of call.

Not that I believe Havoc 1-4-D instructed you wrong in any way but if there was anything overlooked etc it will create delays in your ability to commence training.

All the best in your time here, and hope to see you around soon.

Regards,

TSgt Hardman
S-1 Chief

Thank you two. Havoc 1-4-D has been very welcoming and have helped me with my mod pack issues.

Copy that, TSgt Hardman. I will refer to my Recruiter for any other issues that may occur.

There is a misogynistic joke waiting to happen, somewhere in there.
Alas, it is really good to have you here. Hope you'll find where it is that you fit best!
