How do I load 506th Map Templates into the Editor
« on: December 09, 2017, 10:16:34 AM »
Good morning,

Please explain how I can load the 506th Dingor template into the editor.  I placed the template in my Arma folder and the map shows up in the list; however, when I load into the map I cannot see the 506th base, helicopters, vehicles, equpiment boxes, etc.

Thanks,

Tony

Afternoon Chief.

You need to do-pbo the mission file first, then copy the folder over to your 'missions' folder inside your 'CW2 Stowe' folder. This folder is usually inside your 'My Documents' then 'Arma 3 - Other Profiles'.

There are a few ways to unpack PBOs, I personally use a tool called PBO Manager - it is super easy to use as you can just right click on a PBO and there's an option there to extract it.

Hope that helps, let me know if you need more info.

There is an entire thread dedicated to game related questions like this. The public forum is not it. http://www.506thir.net/forums/index.php?board=55.0

1SG, Admittedly, where to post things within the forum still confuses me...I will post there next time. Thanks

CPL Hardman, thanks for the info and I will look up the PBO Manager.  I was hoping it would be more user friendly, easier if you will, to simply load the 506th template.

Thanks,
