1st Lt (Ret) Morris:
Town of Pogorevka being shelled by RPLA
Dateline 11th of April 2015 1700

Forces of the RPLA made a major push in the early hours in the Green Mountain region of Chernarus. The RPLA in one tactical movement was able to wrestle the towns of Zelenogorsk and Pogorevka out of the hands of the Chernarus army. The RPLA first started to shell the towns around 0230 for an estimated hour. Then they quickly moved in and overran the defenders. We haven't seen a major push like this from the RPLA since February; when they were able to capture Chernogorsk, the capital of Chernarus.

Surviving members of the Chernarus army retreated back to Green Mountain and have begun to dig in. We will update the story when events unfold.

1LT (Ret) Hart:
Cheeky airburst artillery there? I have nightmares because of that. COP Lantern, never forgive, never forget.

1LT (Ret) Dale:
We remember!

1LT (Ret) Hart:
Fond memories COP Lantern, even though it was hectic.

M. Marshall:
It seems the Chernarus army is soon forced to a last stand at their military stronghold in Stary Sobor. With its distance of only 2km away from Pogorevka this is probably the next target.
The Balota airstrip ( 3km away from Zeleno) is also a realistic target. Lets see how this turns out.

For anyone intersted, below is a wiki upload link to a map of Chernarus and Pedogorsk combined, together with where the russian border is.
