Mac runs 1.54

I've posted about my problem and i've downloaded all the mods now and the game can run perfectly with no issues but the problem is because i have a mac i am running the 1.54 version of the game instead of the 1.56 is there any way to update it for the mac? Do if have to install something, buy something or anything please let me know.

I'm guessing 1.56 isn't ready for OS X yet.

Not really, only real solution is to run Windows unfortunately... You can do that through something that comes with the Mac called Bootcamp, but it requires a valid Windows license, a USB drive and some extra harddrive space.

ok thats no problem do you know where i can download that? As for the hard drive thats the thing you put in a disc right?

A hard drive (or solid state drive more often than not now) is where you keep al of your data. It seems you are very computer illiterate if you don't know what a hard drive is. I suggest you do some research before you even attempt to install windows on your machine. It's relatively straightforward but more knowledge than you seem to posses is required. Even though I own a mac, to run Arma I highly suggest building a custom PC if you have the money.

yah my friends are the computer experts so i usually have them help with an installations or downloading of mods. Can you tell me how you run arma through your mac? I heard you can use arma effectively by using something called bootcamp which is from what i understood downloading windows into your mac.

As far as I have looked and seen there is no branch in the 506th IR that uses Mac's. You are most defiantly going to have to download and install Windows.
