Moving Arma to another drive (Resolved)
« on: May 06, 2015, 08:49:32 AM »
I am getting ready to move Arma to a second internal drive and was wondering if there is anything I should know before I get started?  I know I will have to move steam, do I also have to move TS?

Thanks in advance,

Nothing really to know. Set up the necessary Steam stuff, drag ARMA over, done.  No you don't have to move TS.

Thanks SGT Harrison,

I backed up my Arma folder, so I uninstall steam and re-install it on my secondary drive and then drag Arma folder back to the "common" folder in steam?  I won't have to re-install arma?

Thanks again SGT Harrison!

I backed up my entire "steamapps" folder, uninstalled steam from my C: drive, re-installed on my F: drive.  I then move my "steamapps" folder into the new "steam" folder on the F: drive and everything worked as if I hadn't move a thing.  All my campaign saves, profiles, and missions I had made were there.  All I had to do was re-map my mods in the ArmA launcher.

I appreciate the help.
